2) PPM file: It is the language file. We choose this file according to the language we need in the mobile. Its name will end with (a,b,c, etc) or (ab, ac, ad, etc) or(01, 02, 03, etc)

3) CNT File: This file contains wallpapers, ringtones, etc. It is only given for colour display mobiles of DCT4 group. The file name will have ‘nai’, ‘ucp’ or ‘image’ word written in it
We usually give the above three files only.

4) PMM File: This is the program file given in DCT3 group.

5) WUG File: With this file we can change the boot image in DCT3 group.

6) PM File: It is the permanent memory file. It is given only in extreme cases like network related problems or ‘contact service’ problem.

After giving all the required files, we click the ‘write flash’ button. It takes about 5 to 20 minutes to complete the flash process.
When ‘flashing completed‘ message appears on the left window, we have tick all the boxes below the UI options and click on the UI Settings button. After it is successfully done, the flashing is over. You can now remove the handset.

How to download Flash Files No Flash files in tmp

Firstly, we have our facebook page now, you will find a link to like this page in the right column, please like this page and keep yourself updated about new post(s) on Linux on Desktop.

First a disclaimer,it might be illegal to download flash file,it depends upon the websites TOS and I encourage you to go through them before attempting to download flash file, if it is illegal I will NOT recommend that you download flash file.

There are different ways to download flash file, there are plugins that you can install in firefox, there are scripts that allow you to do so, however,one of the better ways that I have used for years( at least more than a year) is copying FlashXXX files from /tmp and renaming them appropriately.

Whenever flash played any media file in the browser, it downloaded Flash file locally in /tmp and deleted it when you closed the page. This had many advantages, for instance if you find something interesting and have already watched it in browser, you do not have to download it again using some plugin, or for instance you could only play part of file by seeking it appropriately and the relevant section is only downloaded in /tmp.

However, I found after updating my system, I no longer had FlashXXX files stored in /tmp , I looked frantically on net to find out reasons for this and found that this has to do with Adobe Flash Player being updated, which no longer saves Files temporarily in /tmp. I further looked up different forums on the Internet and found Flash indeed saved file on the system locally, it was just bit more difficult to access them.

In this post I would try to demonstrate how to retrieve flash files stored locally in the system while it is being played in the web-browser when they are not saved in /tmp. This works with Mozilla Firefox, I havent tried this with other browsers, though it can work.

One approach to solve this problem would be to downgrade your flash to earlier version, but this is not recommended as updates fix many critical security vulnerabilities and further have performance improvements.

The key to finding flash is the fact that on POSIX based systems, or for instance GNU/Linux all the information about processes running on the system is stored in "/proc" directory were each running process is identified with Process ID and there is a directory corresponding to PID in /proc. Further, all the open File descriptors are maintained here i.e in a lyaman all the information about files opened by process is here.

So if we can find process ID corresponding to the instance of flash player and find the fd corresponding to opened flash file we can easily copy the file and this is the approach that is followed by this script ( I am not the original author of this script) :

Open your favorite text editor and copy the following script, and rename it to something like - findflash.sh

Now, open your favorite flash(ensure it is legal to copy) file in web-browser, and in terminal window execute this file by issuing command :

bash findflash.sh

This should print the fd corresponding to all the flash files currently playing, copy them using conventional UNIX command and rename it to meaningful name.

We had opened a video in Firefox, then we executed findflash.sh script, which gave us file descriptors of opened flash video, we copied and renamed this to some meaningful file name and played it using mplayer.

How to create a bootable Windows 7 USB flash drive

You may know this fact that,we can boot windows from any sources like other networks,usb,cd etc.In this article,I will show you how to load the Windows installation on to your USB flash drive and make it bootable just like the DVD.Booting Windows from a USB flash drive has several advantages.First of all, the overall speed of the installation process will increase significantly, carrying a USB stick is much more convenient than a DVD, and finally it becomes possible to install the OS even on those systems that do not have a DVD drive, such as a notebook pcs or systems with only cd drives.

REQUIREMENTS

USB flash drive with a minimum capacity of 4 GB.
Windows 7 set-up DVD.

STEPS TO MAKE A BOOTABLE USB

1. Plug-in your USB flash drive to USB port.

2. Open Command Prompt with admin rights. Use any of the below methods to open Command Prompt with admin rights.

Type cmd in Start menu search box and hit Ctrl+ Shift+ Enter.
Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

3. Type the command DISKPART and hit enter to see the below message

4. Next type LIST DISK command and note down the Disk number (ex: Disk 1) of your USB flash drive. In the below screenshot my Flash Drive Disk no is Disk 1.( Disk 0 will be your harddisk )

5. Next type all the below commands one by one. Here I assume that your disk drive no is “Disk 1”.If you have Disk 2 as your USB flash drive then use Disk 2.Refer the above step to confirm it.Make sure that each is completed successfully.Refer the screenshot given below to know possible success messages

SELECT DISK 1

CLEAN

CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY

SELECT PARTITION 1

ACTIVE

FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK

ASSIGN

EXIT

Don’t close the command prompt as we need to execute one more command at the next step. Just minimize it.

6. Next insert your Windows7/Vista DVD into the optical drive and check the drive letter of the DVD drive. Here my DVD drive letter is "I" and USB drive letter is “J” (open my computer to check this).

7. Maximize the minimized Command Prompt in the 4th step.Type the following command now:

I: CD BOOT and hit enter.Where “I” is my DVD drive letter.( give your DVD drive letter )

CD BOOT and hit enter.

8. Type another command given below to update the USB drive with BOOTMGR compatible code.

BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 J:

( replace J with your usb drive letter )

Once you enter the above command you will see the below message.

9. Now this is the final step,just Copy all the contents of Windows 7/Vista DVD to the USB flash drive.

10. Thats it you are done !!!!!!! Your USB drive is ready to boot and install Windows 7/Vista. Just change the boot priority at the BIOS to USB from the HDD or CD ROM drive.( normally F12 or F8 ,shortcuts for selecting the boot device )

Main Guide To Flash Samsung GALAXY J5 SM-J5008

You must download all necessary file.(Samsung USB driver or Smart Switch and Odin)
Then you must install all driver or samsung smart switch to your computer or PC.
Extraxt Odin V3.10.6. file on the destination folder.

Then you must enter in search bar with your phone model number. you can type SM-J7008 as your phone models then press enter.

Wait your device to boot up, it will take a while.
When your Samsung GALAXY J5 SM-J5008 is ready to use, you can check your firmware update version by dial *#1234# on dial pad.
