How can I add more CentOS repositories

How can I add more CentOS repositories

After installing CentOS, your system has only a few repositories, therefore offering a limited range of applications. It is possible and easy to add more repositories that are unofficial but trusted by the community. By doing so, you will access a wide range or applications for your CentOS system.
You have two ways to add more Centos repositories:
  • Drop .repo files into your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory
  • Add a repository entry in your /etc/yum.conf file
In this example, we will use yum.conf only, for more consistency.

Adding official CentOS repositories

Here is the list of official repository entries that you can add to your /etc/yum.conf file:
[base]
name=CentOS-$releasever - Base
mirrorlist=http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=$releasever&arch=$basearch&repo=os
#baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/$releasever/os/$basearch/
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-centos4
enabled=1
#released updates
[update]

gpgkey=http://ATrpms.net/RPM-GPG-KEY.atrpms
gpgcheck=1enabled=1
To use the above repositories, you need to add their GPG key for authentication:
$ su -
# rpm --import http://centos.karan.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-karan.org.txt
# rpm --import http://dries.ulyssis.org/rpm/RPM-GPG-KEY.dries.txt
# rpm --import http://dag.wieers.com/packages/RPM-GPG-KEY.dag.txt

How to Add Music to iPhone Upload or Move Songs in iPhone iPod Touch

How to Add Music to iPhone Upload or Move Songs in iPhone iPod Touch

How to Add Music to iPhone; Upload or Move Songs in iPhone/iPod Touch

Steps: Adding Music from your Library

  • Add the music file to your iTunes Library. In iTunes, go to File >> Add to Library, and select the file. iTunes will incorporate it into your library.

       Its helpful if you have a Music folder or other common area where you store all of the files you add to iTunes for your own convenience.

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer through a USB connector. Plug the wider end into the bottom of the iPhone and the shorter end into your computer.

  •  Open iTunes. When your device connects, an "iPhone" button will pop up on the left side or top-right corner (depending on what version of iTunes you have) for you to access your phones settings. Click on this button.

  • On the top navigation sub-menu, select "Music."

  • Make sure "Sync Music" at the top is checked. If you have "Entire music library" selected, the song you just added to iTunes will automatically be added to your iPhone. If you do not, and instead have "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" checked, then check the box next to the appropriate playlist, artist, album, or genre that applies to the song you wish to add.

  • Press "Apply" at the bottom to confirm your changes. Your new song will be added to your iPhone.

How to add a music player in Blogspot

How to add a music player in Blogspot

In preparation for explaining how to podcast with Blogger, this tutorial explains how to easily add an HTML5 mp3/audio player to your blog posts or layout. No JavaScript, Flash or plugins are required, and with a fallback for older browsers which dont support the player.

Ive even created a simple form to generate basic tags for you! Adding music to your Blogspot site has never been so easy!

Basic HTML5 Audio Tags Explained

The

It is supported in Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari, and can be set to play the linked audio file automatically (autoplay) or loop if required.

Heres a basic example using the

The audio player above is produced using the following HTML code:

If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element
In the example above, all code related to the audio player is wrapped in controls in the audio element, a simple player is displayed, enabling the user to begin playback when (or if) they want, and to adjust the volume.

Any text between the audio tags (which is not enclosed in the tags) is displayed in browsers which do not support the audio element (IE8 and below).

If you would like the audio to begin playback as soon as it is ready, you can enable autoplay as in the following example:

If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element

By retaining the controls attribute, you give visitors the option to stop or resume audio playback if they choose.

To loop audio (specify that the audio will start over again, every time it is finished), include the loop element in the

If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element

Hosting files for your audio player

Blogger does not allow us to upload or host audio files, so in order to add an audio player you will need to find a host for your mp3/ogg files.

While Blogger Help suggests hosting providers which offer free and premium packages, I anticipate most of you would prefer a simple free solution, so here are a few suggestions:
  • Link to public domain audio files which allow hotlinking, such as this collection of classical music on Wikipedia
  • Upload files to your Public folder on Dropbox
  • Host files on Google sites
Once you have uploaded your audio files, make a note of the direct link to the file which youll need to add in the code for your audio player.

How to add a music player to a blog post

While using the compose tab, write the main content of your post as normal, then place your cursor where you would like the audio player to appear. Then use one of the example code snippets above (substituting the direct link to your audio file) or use the code generator below and paste into your blog post.

Be sure to check the Interpret Typed HTML option on the post Options in the right side of the post editor, otherwise the raw code for your player will be displayed instead!

Alternatively, switch to the HTML mode when composing a post and paste your code as HTML.
