How To Edit Costumize Mobile Template Blogspot

How To Edit Costumize Mobile Template Blogspot

I was surprised this morning when i visited a blog hosted on blogger with my mobile phone and got the mobile view displayed. Blogger launched its mobile version about a couple of months back but only high end devices could be automatically detected and I decided to use a third party script from mobstac.

There has been a lot of improvement on the new blogger mobile template as it now detects a wider range of mobile devices including mobile browsers like Opera Mini. You can as well edit the new mobile template and select your desired blogger mobile theme:

-Log in to draft.blogger.com

-Click on the settings drop down and select Template

-Click the mobile template settings icon

-If you havent enabled it before, select "Yes, show a mobile version of your current template"

- From here you can select from the available mobile theme.

I hope the option to edit mobile theme HTML will be made available soon as the current mobile themes are somehow limited in terms of functionality.

Google Adsense For Mobile

Google adsense for mobile displays on the mobile theme if you have added at least one of your google adsense ads through blogger widget. I didnt enable ads between posts but I saw one adsense for mobile unit when viewing this blog with an Android smartphone. It seems ads are only enabled for high end mobile devices as I couldnt see them when viewing through Opera Mini. Just like I said earlier, certain improvements need to be done to perfect this new, exciting feature.

Help my blog name blogspot com has been deleted what should I do

Help my blog name blogspot com has been deleted what should I do

Google, actually Blogspot, try to improve their spam policy and day by day many blogspot.com blog ends deleted. This is an automatically operation made by some bots which have some standard criterias for deletion.
What should be done if you get this message:
Hello, Your blog at http://your-blog-name.blogspot.com/ has been reviewed and confirmed as in violation of our Terms of Service for: SPAM. In accordance to these terms, weve removed the blog and the URL is no longer accessible. For more information, please review the following resources: Terms of Service:

Fist, I know it might be a pain if you have a blog where you posted hundreds or thousands of posts and youve worked on it many many hours/days/years. Your traffic goes instantly to zero and also your incomes from adsense or other networks fall.
Take a deep breath as this will take few days to get back your blog IF it was deleted by mistake!
Otherwise think to other solution like starting from scratch with other blog...

Now, the steps Ive followed when I received this messages are below:
1. Consider to submit an appeal. Go to your blogspot.com dashboard and you will see on the menu "Deleted Blogs" go there and you will find your blog title with "appeal" next to it.
Selected and submit the appeal as it will help your blog to be reviewed by a Blogspot legal member. See the image below:

2. You can go to https://productforums.google.com on "Something is Broken" section and try to get the Nitecruzr help; hes there always :-)
If you read this, thank you again Nitecruzr  for your support and help!
3. Post a question where you mention exactly the blogspot.com address and that you submitted and appeal
for review as your blog was deleted by mistake!

4. Follow the Nitecruzr advices:
"Please, read the linked articles, to help us to help you.  This will give you a better idea of the basic requirements for abuse / malware / spam review - and may help you to help us.

Please tell us what you are seeing.  This will help us to determine what the problem may be.  Please read and respond.
Can you login to Blogger?  If so, do you have a dashboard link labeled "Deleted blogs" / "Locked blogs"?
When possible,  you submit a Restore request, and wait 24 to 48 hours.  You post back here after 24 to 48 hours have passed - if necessary - and we take the next step.

If at all possible, please provide a screen print of the "My blogs" dashboard display, so we can properly report your problem.  Read the FAQ, for instructions.

5. Consider the list of examples you can find here, or below this link  http://productforums.google.com/forum/?
hl=en&fromgroups#%21category-topic/blogger/something-is-broken/QFk92Wubt6I[1-25-true]
and answer to each of them if  your blog respect it or not!
  • Affiliate marketing (Please, dont confuse this with "affiliate networking"!).
  • Automated traffic redirection, to another Blogger blog, or to non Google hosted content.
  • Commercially funded adult content (monetized adult content, aka "porn spam").
  • Content created with scripts and programs, rather than by hand.
  • Content or links which reference account hacking / password distribution / password sharing.
  • Content or links which reference code deconstruction / reverse engineering, to bypass normal use of proprietary software.
  • Content or links which reference referral-based activities such as GPT ("Get Paid To"), MLM ("Multi-Level Marketing"), MMF ("Make Money Fast"), MMH ("Make Money from Home"), PTC ("Pay To Click"), or PTS ("Pay To Surf").
  • Content scraped (stolen), or syndicated (copied, with permission), from other blogs / websites. Content scraped or syndicated to other blogs / websites.
  • Content subject to copyright infringement reports, or other DMCA violation notice.
  • Crapola.  Content of poor quality, or low / vague / zero relevance to the subject of the blog.
  • Large blogs with multiple, unfocused / unrelated subjects.
  • Links to Illegal Downloads / Streaming / Torrents.

6. They will try to find a copy of your blog with the content to see if respect the rules above or not and after that your blogspot.com blog might be submitted for a review.
Remember that if your blog was deleted and then restored doesnt mean you cant have it deleted again! So take care to review all the posts and also take care what you will post in future.
Also, before you request a review consider to review first all your blogs if you have more than one under your blogspot.com account! Blogspot members might check your other blogs to see if it was a mistake for real and all your other blogs are legit or your run spam or crapola blogs!!

Take care and keep your blogs clean! Im starting to clean mine :-)

How to curb the spammed blogspot contents issue

How to curb the spammed blogspot contents issue

I am upset. Little has been done by blogspot to overcome the spammy sites.

Blogspot is a free platform to write and post our contents. But it has been abused, and it has been taking place all the while.

One of the reasons that i update my post lesser is that, I notice my blogspot contents have been stolen by other blogspot sites, almost instantaneously after i have posted them. Meaning, it has been done by a script. Someone has somehow been able to detect my new posted contents and immediately grab them automatically, verbatim!

What is even more irritating is that, the search engine is oblivious to this evil jerks, and they outrank the original sites like us.

I did report to the blogspot. But no action is taken.

So it seems that we the original content producers have to figure out a way to tackle such a ridiculous issue.

Heres a way:

  • Use javascript to show/hide your contents

Usually, the spammers steal the contents inside a specific HTML tag only - words and images. What i find out is that, their scripts wont be able to detect the logic inside the additional javascripts added.

I made several experiments in my previous posts. One is to hide the original contents by default (with css), and then they are only re-displayed at the end of the javascript added myself. It works. The spammer site is unable to show the content, except the title stolen.

With this understanding, you can basically do whatever you want inside the javascript. For example, show a foolish message in the HTML, and mask it later. From the perspective of the normal web surfers, they wont see a difference. But the stupid spammer would have that annoying texts added into their posts.

So far everything is going well. But the drawback is that, it doesnt work well with the SEO. Since you originally hide the contents, the search engines might be at first under the impression that you have no contents - which makes them index your page at a slower pace. To some extent, this is a critical issue. You defeat a robotic spammer, but you might still face the risk of being spammed by the normal thieves who copy and paste your contents with the keyboard.

So, what should we do, or what can be done by us at this point? sigh...

How to add a music player in Blogspot

How to add a music player in Blogspot

In preparation for explaining how to podcast with Blogger, this tutorial explains how to easily add an HTML5 mp3/audio player to your blog posts or layout. No JavaScript, Flash or plugins are required, and with a fallback for older browsers which dont support the player.

Ive even created a simple form to generate basic tags for you! Adding music to your Blogspot site has never been so easy!

Basic HTML5 Audio Tags Explained

The

It is supported in Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari, and can be set to play the linked audio file automatically (autoplay) or loop if required.

Heres a basic example using the

The audio player above is produced using the following HTML code:

If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element
In the example above, all code related to the audio player is wrapped in controls in the audio element, a simple player is displayed, enabling the user to begin playback when (or if) they want, and to adjust the volume.

Any text between the audio tags (which is not enclosed in the tags) is displayed in browsers which do not support the audio element (IE8 and below).

If you would like the audio to begin playback as soon as it is ready, you can enable autoplay as in the following example:

If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element

By retaining the controls attribute, you give visitors the option to stop or resume audio playback if they choose.

To loop audio (specify that the audio will start over again, every time it is finished), include the loop element in the

If you cannot see the audio controls, your browser does not support the audio element

Hosting files for your audio player

Blogger does not allow us to upload or host audio files, so in order to add an audio player you will need to find a host for your mp3/ogg files.

While Blogger Help suggests hosting providers which offer free and premium packages, I anticipate most of you would prefer a simple free solution, so here are a few suggestions:
  • Link to public domain audio files which allow hotlinking, such as this collection of classical music on Wikipedia
  • Upload files to your Public folder on Dropbox
  • Host files on Google sites
Once you have uploaded your audio files, make a note of the direct link to the file which youll need to add in the code for your audio player.

How to add a music player to a blog post

While using the compose tab, write the main content of your post as normal, then place your cursor where you would like the audio player to appear. Then use one of the example code snippets above (substituting the direct link to your audio file) or use the code generator below and paste into your blog post.

Be sure to check the Interpret Typed HTML option on the post Options in the right side of the post editor, otherwise the raw code for your player will be displayed instead!

Alternatively, switch to the HTML mode when composing a post and paste your code as HTML.
