Will work with USB and FIREWIRE external drive enclosures. Low-level formatting of Flash Cards is supported too. Low Level Format Tool will clear partitions, MBR, and every bit of user data. Also, there are some viruses that affect the hard drive, and a a low-level format is a safe way to remove it.In low level format all files and partitions are eliminated, because that it defines or re-creates the tracks and sectors on the disk.Please note the data cannot be recovered after using this utility.So before proceeding to the format you should back-up all the files you want to keep, in order to avoid losing them.
